Happy Days!
By Scott D. Zachary

Skipping from pinnacle to pinnacle
While snuggled in my lofty eagle nest
Wrapping my arms around the universe
And looking over my shoulder at parallels

Wondering about my own bedazzlement
As inner crevices succumb to goodness
Surrounded by sparkling childrens’ smiles
And occasional giggles tickling my heart

Lost in my own naïve excited wonderment
As I toss mundane seeds to the lowly birds
Glad to be a happy giver with a sparkling heart
Positively bestowed and filled to the brim

Happiness effervescing and lilliputians reigning
Always heartened to hear angelic voices
Grateful for my very first screaming breath
And knowingly grinning from ear to shining ear

With all this encapsulized in my tiny mind
While scarcely reflecting upon silly sadness
And readily extending my shameful arms
I breathe God’s sweet soul into my being

I praise You, Lord! With all my heart, my being, and my soul, I praise You!

Who could be gloomy when you are around? With a heart attitude like this, you must light up the room when you enter.
I enjoyed your happy, bubbly, joy, and the bottom line: praise to the Lord.
Praising with you,
Connie
