You don't even know the fire that almost blistered your internal face
Nary a clue about the nasty abyss that you were nearly sucked into
You thought you were in control--stealing everything that I owned
Twice you fortunately cowed before my blackness engulfed us
In your absence, blackness has turned into goodness
And my fantasies aren't silvery dreams anymore
You steered me away from God for far too long
Now God breathes through my nostrils
Your descendants are pitiful
I see it and you will
God is with me
