It could happen!

I was walking on Mars
Just gazing at some stars
When my eyes beheld a sight
Mil'ion alien ships
Were doing spins and dips
Headed t'wards the Earth that night

So conveniently
My ship had a T.V.
Which I flipped straight away
There was talk 'round the world
'Bout whose bombs would be hurled
Then I heard somebody say

We must unite as one
The time has fin'ly come
To put dif'rences aside
The nations then combined
Politics cast behind
No need of weapons to hide

The Nations worked as one
To save their planet from
Bug eyed freaks who sought to win
Blue planet for their own
They planned their seeds be sown
Into ev'ry human's skin

The Earth came forth as one
The battle had begun
Unity showed it's proud face
Aliens said, "Who knew?"
And then away they flew
I watched them return to space

There seems some moral here
No need for us to fear
We must all stand hand in hand
As long as we do that
Don't waste our time to spat
Look at this Earth as one land

We must all stand hand in hand...............................

It would be very "right" for all mankind to be as one. Thank you, Jane. Love and best wishes,

You must've seen the season opener of “Falling Skies.” It is an apt title for a stupid series based on the idea that Chicken Little was right. Don't worry my dear, that's one story I won't write to give you nightmares. HG Wells already wrote it over a century and a half ago.

...don't trust them. I've seen: Mars Attack. So I know what I'm talking about, same with War of the Worlds. ;)
