Wet Again

Please take off this spell, this curse of wet weather, & I will...

Wet Again…

Okay Katy, you have proved to me your power,

Or was it Ed K & Kate C sending me this weather to make me glower?

It could have come up from the Texas Special “K” twins,

If so I will send them something with 8 legs, nobody then wins…

Damn if I am not already tired of rainy weather,

Rufuz can’t go out, with the rain so hard, on his tether,

So Dad has to walk him then dry him off,

It takes me one towel to dry off after a shower, him it takes four…

So if I offended the gods of the rain, or the persons named above,

I offer you in the future and again, nothing but love,

Please take off your curse, your monsoon season spell,

So help me, I will forever and always be your slave, if this weather you will quell…

Careful what you say and promise, Ed . . . especially when you say "so help me." Cute, but then again, with life, a little rain must fall. It's good snugglin' weather and I'll bet that Rufuz snuggles good. Dry off and enjoy .. . Love, b

Rufus is easier to dry then a herd of horses dear Ed. This is a great write, about a non-right wet way of life. April showers, better bring lots of May flowers.
