Did Rufuz run Away...?

Relationships are better with a dog...

Did Rufuz run Away…?

At 3am I did get home,

I had been at work then did roam,

Rufuz happy to see me as always,

Walk we did then to sleep at home…

Cool was the night air,

I thought to leave the door open fair,

A screen separating him from the outside,

I awoke early, about eight, the screen door open,

Rufuz no where to be seen, nor found…

I got so scared and worried,

Did my Ruffie puppy run from home away?

Thankfully he was just under the house,

Laying in the dirt, worried I was angry…

I guess in the night he did see a squirrel,

The door popped open; out he did whirl,

Just taking advantage of the situation, I suppose,

To apologize for scaring me, in my face he did rub his cold wet nose…

Rufuz must learn that chasing a fluffy piece of tail is dangerous.

I knew Rufuz wouldn't leave home, Ed, you are not only the love of his life, you are also his meal ticket. LOL
Take care,

Hell, if he's a male, who can blame him for wanting to find some ladies. Or even some bow wow buddies. Ol' Ed isn't the only dog in the pound.
