*57’ Chevy Ragtop*

Always wanted, never gotten,

To buy would have to pick much cotton,

Too poor, grew up rotten,

Could it be because I was misbegotten?

No longer do I want the real thing,

Too afford one now, one would have to be king,

I would not even do it if I were rich and on a fling,

Better to have the golf cart version,

Top down in the spring.

Fire engine red with a white top,

By every cop one would be stopped,

Just to see her in person,

Again better to have the golf cart,

With gas prices today, I think that idea most smart.
