Worlds Turned Upside Down…

As if our world has been turned around,

Shaken to release them like so many crystals of salt,

Thrown from a moving, spinning earth,

Trying to keep within during & after, my mirth…

Shaken, not stirred is our planet of late,

Not formally introduced to the cosmos,

We’ve not been here very long,

Though time is relative, not long do we exist,

Till the time arrives that we learn of our fate…

So if you are out walking,

And you feel a slight shaking,

Grab hold of something grounded,

Or find yourself to the Milky Way bounded…

Ed I like your serious poems, which still have a touch of humor, just enough to let us know it's you!;-) Excellent writing!

Great poem, Ed. It's been said that we're the stuff of stars. I think you capture that well.

Many now actually believe that The End Time draws near. Enjoy yourself while you can, Bro.

Oh my dear friend, your mind works in mysterious ways, beautiful wonderful ways. How original is this? I wouldn't mind going to another galaxy so maybe, I'll just go with the tide and not hang on here. Great write, Love, Bonnie
