A brief respite...

...in fact, as I write this, it is but 68 degrees...

Just the other day,

A hundred & five degrees,

Enough to put me on my knees,

Then there was this beautiful day…

Low seventies, that’s right, no more than 70,

Low humidity, though we have had rain,

Gotta admit it’s downright cool,

Not weather to go into the pool…

Yes this I like, it feels just right,

Starting tomorrow back in the 80’s,

And on up from there back to the heat,

But for today we had a brief summer respite…

The heated response is to jump in the pool, but for the Vlad the vampire draining of human blood, it is just too sad to see.

It was so nice to open all the windows! I think it was good of you to write a poem about today!

Love ya!

First he's hot, then he's cold,
or he's somewhere in between.
I'd say make up your mind,
but I don't want to sound mean.
