Zen & the Art of Smoking a Joint…

[not sure if it’s been done; what the hell, it’s all in fun…]

On your first toke,

You must not deeply inhale,

Or without any & short fail,

You will without doubt choke…

Calmly pinch the joint between thumb & forefinger,

Have a lighter in the other hand, light the damn thing,

Place the joint to your lips & light it, being careful TO linger,

Take a nice calm hit, don’t suck too hard,

Then sit back and hold it in, till you hear in your head a ringer…

Allow the smoke inhaled to flow out your nostrils,

You will be well surprised by what it gives you, a thrill,

Then when you stand, that’s when you get the rush,

(you should have done that before you smoked as it will be hard to flush)

Now you are high, enough so to make your voice quite shrill,

No it won’t of your brain cells, kill,

Nor will your memory be threatened,

Who were you again, and what/why am I writing this…?

[ps: rest in peace, Jerry Garcia, on this, the 17th remembrance of your passing]

Zen is part of Taoism and Buddhism somehow I don't think this was part of their plan! lol

Artful and funny

Jerry Garcia of the Grateful dead was a wonderful songwriter and guitarist.. many will remember him

When it's legalized, you should write a "how to" book on this! Or, what did I just say?

Love ya!

Up on the roof, smoking a dube or two, know I'm no rube, just wishing I could write like you.
Grand Illusions coming true. Glad to know you,..., your words ring true.
