A day at the market in Chang Mai Thailand.
|
The Face
I was walking—today
In the market square,
Looking at the fruits
And all the delicacies
Of abundant crops.
As my eyes wandered
Through the many faces
And people walking,
Talking, moving briskly—
I knew I would see
You again—there you were
Selling vegetables from the fields,
And there I was—in Chang Mai
Looking at the most beautiful face.
