Secret obsession

Mystery where are you these days? You're not any of the ladies I can think of, so who the hell are you? Over and over again I've sought you out, wondered if we'd ever meet and greet, but all it added up to was a tease, and along with it summer twist, only we both know they never last for long. In the times I would check the stars to sketch a layered connection of the twinkling dots I dress you with guesses from starry eyes to universal lips, to long, sparkling figure top to bottom I build you based on the images I dream from mighty tidal waves to the unheralded winds that sing "Jingle Bells" with mystery kisses, so I ask once more, where are you these days?

You cover up my reflecting thoughts, and like strangers we've never crossed paths other than a three dimensional world disguised for a dream.

You're the beauty I want enlightening my way home, and the dream I want to taste like sweet water that's never been touched.

When will we meet? Only you know the answer.

Give me a sign so I know where we stand.

Secret obsessions lead to unfulfilled dreams. Except for the tryst, an intriguing write.
