Iridescent moon calls to the night Through clouds shimmering Reflection on water’s heart In the distance silence imprisons The essence of lost nymphs Water’s glow evermore Filled with tears of weeping sirens Lost love Forbidden temptation Desire, hunger screams Out from the iridescent moon As the sigh of want Echoes hauntingly Moan of need dances Back to stillness
