The music plays softly

As the groom stands there, awaiting his true love.

He is as beautiful as the first time I laid eyes on him

Itís not that often that a man can be described as beautiful

But, it is the only word befitting him

As he stands in his black and white tux at the end of the aisle.

The flower girl sprinkles her petals as she glides towards him

The corners of his mouth turn up in anxious joy

The day he has dreamt of has come

The thrill of it all is written on his face

Everyone turns as his bride appears

I am the only one who can see his eyes watering with joy

The music fades out as the two hearts are joined together

And as he lifts his brideís veil to show the world his trophy

A lone tear falls from my eye.

It should have been me.

Crystal, very fitting ending. You seemed to have shown the most emotion. Your imagery was very beautiful and endearing.
