I was only jesting, biding my time, and spreading myself thin; anxious with thoughts of yet another day. Not ever suspecting the winds that change, nor those sour notes deep within me that play. When around the corner post barked a subtle gust of the whirl-winds breath, clanging old chimes that once hung limp and strained. It sweeps along a dusty path sucking in odd leaves that once lade brandished and gray; pulls itsself into a twisting shroud, throttling my intrest at bay...
