Waiting for the seasons changes
As I see the change in me.
Not the robust picture of health
That once I was, you see.
My face has added wrinkles.
My gait is not as steady
As once it used to be.
But what ever comes I'm ready.
Don't like boxing shadows
of the days that used to be.
I accept the situation
As age has caught up with me.
Faith is as strong as ever,
Of this I cannot waiver.
God has been my guiding light,
The one who is my Savior.
Though the days are getting shorter,
And one day I'll have to part.
May God take over the helm
On the day my soul departs.
