A Lighted Pen

Can a lighted pen

Leave shadows behind?

In the darkest of rooms,

Thoughts are created.

Moving with a mind of its own,

On paper made up of  clouds.

Distinguished and up lifting,

Is this sonnet of darkest tones.

It has left an impression

From whence it was conceived.

I am bewilderd and puzzled,

But then that's me.

A pen lit in the hand of
a poet brings thoughts to
life *George* questioning
those thoughts can bring
one growth to write more
with understanding

We always question our-self it is the beauty
of the thought process and the want to know
as the curiosity of a child :)

I wouldn't say it is a poem of darkest tones, George, I would say it is a poem posing questions, and when you can still question that's a healthy thing.
