high above over our heads
the airplane that brought us here
departs on a fatal final return
those shortly acquainted mourn the loss

swimming with children in the sun
beautiful weather near this northern shore
swiss fantasy in the land of wane
above the foggy brittan coast

along the small world view
castles cathedrals and steam room
shower there with death
and mother-herself to comfort
blue green brassiere nipple rings
bleeding bathtub cousins
off to school with you
nakedness worn as innocence

fly back to home
across sea and continent
half the world away
to awaken in my own bed

This has a haunting feel about it. The last sentence speaks volumes!
