Beyond Forgiveness

Any crime against a child should be reported truthfully and quickly.

Beyond Forgiveness

More than one life changed forever as
the twelve year old girl tells her Mom
what had happened during the night
Innocent words confirm beyond doubt
that he had done what she suspected
after the two didn't talk at breakfast
Words and tears flowed as the girl
sobbed that his forced penetration
painfully ripped apart trust and flesh
The young mother who had married
him in loneliness must now call for
medical treatment and report a crime
Putting the girl back to bed for a nap
her angered finger pressed 911 for
an ambulance and a report to police
Perhaps the doctor or her attorney
could help explain why some men
do such horrible things to children

such horrific crimes--as far as i am concerned, we let them off far to easily

Stark and sadly all too real write about child abuse and even worst in so many cases it is not reported out of disbelieve, guilt or fear and these children go on being abused time after time.
