From youth to now, from Puff to Puff

Children are our future in life they will see
the old gold left behind for you and me

If you will let me
I will set
you upon a tail

Sing of the time
when Puff and I
Set the world
to sail

Children are our future in life they will see
the old gold left behind for you and me

It was in times of old
when knights were bold
and powerful the dragons that ruled
the deep blue sea

From whence
out of a northern wind
there came to be
a Puffing dragon
strong and free

Children are our future in life they will see
the old gold left behind for you and me

A ragging smoking fire
in his big belly had he
The entire world knew
Puff the dragon of the sea

Listen all of you out there
this story to you I will tell
Hero is the mighty quest
of a dragon on the sell

Children are our future in life they will see
the old gold left behind for you and me

The best friend of my children
but no longer a friend of  I

Though Puff was wise
he had a tempered spirit free
deep in his heart
he loved the children
that belonged to me

Captain and crew
of the ship
called the deep dreary

Children are our future in life they will see
the old gold left behind for you and me

Like those before they in turn
found old Puff to be
a perfect friend
for he'd take them
on trips above
the ragging sea

For his reward
they would share
all their wealth
precious candy

Children are our future in life they will see
the old gold left behind for you and me

In the quiet night of evening
when adults would be
 fast asleep

He would pick them up
and way they would go
to receive his gifts reward
for a special treat of candy they'd meet

Children are our future in life they will see
the old gold left behind for you and me

The sky was black
the little ship
was tossed about the tub
rubber ducky was afraid
of Puff the dragon strong

Splash and crash
huge waves thrown
to and fro

Torn through the night
as the ship was cast about

Children are our future in life they will see
the old gold left behind for you and me

But good old Puff
pulled the children out
From window peeks
the captain that is I

With a strong heart
and a sharpened sword
I face the mighty Puff
but he was just a toy
Filled with candy and stuff

Children are our future in life they will see
the old gold left behind for you and me

Oh resting place
inside my mind
I love you still today
Puff you and I along the
Cherry lane
both of us still can play

Mother says, "who made this mighty mess"
We all point at Puff
Daddy head down does confess
It was he
with his magic sword,
soap and towel

Children are our future in life they will see
the old gold left behind for you and me

Mother cuts him down to size
with just her order strong
Clean this up and
get the children dressed

I swear
I saw old Puff
He smiled as he left the tub
Flying low below
mothers watchful eye

Children are our future in life they will see
the old gold left behind for you and me

A tear of joy left her
and I heard her cry
"Puff I love you"

He loves you too
we all in strong voice
replied

I Love this and the repeating reminding line of who the children are perfect and thank you so much!
Let Puff be your friend mighty and strong to beat that dragon not Puff at all, that you feel, but another.
So Puff do your stuff!
Thanks!
Puff the magic dragon lived by the sea!
Puff, I Love You!
