~~~~~~~~~~~~When the flood engulfs the flame, can either ever be the same~~~~~~~~~~~
|
Flowing, churning, seeking, my love flows like a river. Growing, burning, heating, your flame ignites my soul. When the flood engulfs the flame, Can either ever be the same?
Will the flood, unrestrained, with a whoosh, put out the fire? Will the flame, sizzling hot, now quench the flood's desire? Together can they form a steam, Sustaining love, attaining dreams?
Flowing, growing, knowing now that my flood will feed your flame. Churning, burning, learning how that fire never can be tamed. The two embrace, releasing pain; Neither will ever be the same.
