| Jeff.. Jeff.. Jeff! To those who would stick their noses in the air, declaring that poetry that rhymes has less depth, less glory, I say: READ THIS POEM! I was mesmerized by the rhyme and meter, captivated by the language of the masters, and brought to tears by the simple, gentle, quiet passion. One doesn't need to shout love to the skies.. far more power is in the heart of a telling such as this. Simply beautiful! katy xox. |
