|Oh, for a little glimmer of hope! I love the way you express the existential terror that must exist within our genetic make-up - very scary. Love and peace, Li|

|A little Glint of Eastwood, too. Somehow I read this in the 19th Century, before the techno-beast got hold of us.

|Jeff, it would've been nice to read this but I couldn't, too hard on my weak eyes.

|Wow, this was illustrated through your pen from the dark side of life. Expressions of such reality amazingly created...

|Dear Jeff, Poetry is meant first to liberate our expression. Some understand and some do not. By keeping the pace of writing, eventually a poem will be born. It is always destined for certain people only. I read it. It is a great poem. Bless you, my friend. Emile|

|On occasion I write on the dark side but leave a door open to escape from it at the end. Well done poet.|

|THANK YOU Sandie, for letting me know. Now it should be much better. I had too much 'bold' and too much contrast, but i still want to try for the "red on black" - sort of 'blood-dark' type of theme, so I chose a gentler script font and revised it - and I also UN-bolded it.
These are the types of things I am grateful for - wonderful critiques, peer reviews, friendship in general, just people helping people. I am honored still to be here on the Den. I am honored to be able to write my heart onto the page. And, as always, I am ever grateful for everyone's support and comments. -- Jeff

I've tried to read this, but am having a hard time. It's because of the font and the dark background. I hope you can improve this to make this easier for everyone to read.
Thank you for sharing your poetry!
