This was almost an ode to Freddy Krueger

Sweet,
Burning,
Passionately sinister;
Beautiful,
Addictive,
wet
with the thick,
metallic liquid
that brings life to dead flesh;
Shimmering in the light
off of a new, sharp blade;
Gushing,
flowing
like a violent waterfall
during a storm,
washing over
the sack of miserable
skin that rots away
my very existence;
Putrid sustenance of
undead beasts,
and creatures
of the night;
dripping from
open wounds
of victims
as slick, sharp
metal chills flesh
as it slices with
sharpened edges.

Very nicely crafted. You should be writing Stephen King-esque novels.
