Big heartache for a Tiny dog!

My tiny Pomeranian had been getting weaker for quite a while now. Her legs were very wobbly.
When Ching cuddled up on my neck all night long, I knew something was wrong. This morning, the vet said Ching should be put to sleep, as her kidneys had packed up. As she looked into my eyes for the last time, she smiled. Then she was gone. 9.45am I took her away in her favourite blanket, and put her in the handbag she loved to travel in. I could not leave her behind. Soon I shall bury her under a beautiful tree in the woods. Fourteen years of her constant company. My baby. The pain is dreadful at the moment, but I know it will ease in time.

PRECIOUS CHING THE POMERANIAN.

My little Ching is teeny weeny;
about six inches from the ground.

She has large eyes and lots of fur;
but she's not that easy to be found!

I've often been talking to my shoes,
instead of her, as they are black too.

Gives me a fright when she appears,
as she darts out and away from you.

She never gets trodden on any more,
and can move so fast she's a blur.

This is because in her younger days,
we would accidentally step on her!

She's animated at her dinner time,
we certainly hear her voice purr.

Strange noises that sound like words,
she doesn't have to say much more.

But for all of this, she is mainly fur,
mostly skin and bone.

She has such character, all 2 lbs of her,
and almost smaller than a phone!

(R.I.P CHING - 22nd February 1991 to 3rd January 2005)

I am so very sorry. My heart aches because I am a dog lover and I've lost quite a few during my 60 years. People who don't understand how "human" dogs are, cannot relate to this.

Donni-Jay,

Beautiful tribute to your trusty long-time friend. I've lost loving pets in the past and know your pain. I had a little loving terrier for almost 15 years and had to put her to sleep due to cancer ...like losing a vital member of the family. Blessings and prayers to you.

Donni-Jay, I am so sorry I missed this; and I am so so sorry to hear this tragic news. Ching was truly a tiny sweetheart; and I know the pain you are going through too well. I've lost far too many precious animal friends over the years and my little Pepper dog was 13 when cancer took her from me years ago, and I still miss her so. But she lives on somehow - in my heart and soul. And I know your precious Ching will live on in yours.

Beautiful adorable Ching. She's so tiny in the photo. I just know how you feel right now. I had lost my cat King_Freddy this year in April. He was cremated and we have his ash here with us in a tiny little urn that we can look at and talk to him everyday. I still miss him a lot from time to time.

Hope your pain will ease in time.

Can I say that I am sorry but you did what was right for her. I have had my own beloved pets to leave me. My little pomeranian and Jack Russell is a pure delight. I hope that your heart will find the space to give another needy animal a home when you are ready.
