Very articulate and insightful write, Donni! I hope you continue to write because you definately have a gift for it.
We've both written a poem on growing old and seems we both agree, it doesn't have to be a bad thing.

Dear Donni-Jay;
You come across as being a lot like my Terre. To her credit -- and good fortune -- she finally left an addict husband and a not-so-nice life behind, for good. Best of luck to you.

| Donni-Jay, the poetry and picture compliment each other perfectly. With age brings wisdom and hopefully understanding of one being able to appreciate the finer things in life. Excellent work. Thanks for sharing it. Take care and be well. |

Donni-Jay!
These are some pretty thoughtful and lovely words you've put together here to tell a story of how a great many of us actually feel but don't quite know how to express it as you've accomplished! Keep up the great work, Donni-Jay...we're all waiting for what's coming next!!!

| I enjoyed this poem. It's what I call a fun poem. I especially like how the poem built to its surprisingly unique ending. |
