Beauty comes in all forms.
It is life unfolding
before our very eyes
or the sounds of gulls
as they circle high above
the crashing waves.

I am taken
to a solitude
beneath my soul
as I watch
and listen
to the quiet harbor
of ships
still and unmoving
within the vastness
of time.

I was not meant
to cry
when truth
is as simple and profound
as the grains of sand
beneath the vast open waters
and yet
I am alive and filled with joy.

My love is unbounding
as I think of you
for I have waited an eternity
to find a soul
matched with mine.

You too waited
for the precise moment
when pebbles
no longer
led to nowhere.

For the gift of happiness
came unexpectly
when our eyes
led us to the infinite space
of earthly matter
and songs from the angels
were heard triumphantly
as the chorus of two souls
became a harmonic revelation...
