Dedicated to my dear friend Jeff Dodson, who passed away on December 8, 2005.

In death as in life, you lead the way

Champion of all, regardless of origin

Offering love and friendship freely

Believing in redemption, salvation and life anew

In death as in life, you lead the way

By example and character

You challenge each of us to aspire

To a better life, a happier self

In death as in life, you lead the way

Knowing when to lead and when to follow

Knowing when to speak and when to listen

Knowing when to love and when not to judge

In death as in life, you lead the way

Your path etched in hearts and souls

Your life a reflection of all that you were

Our challenge to keep your memory alive

I think your challenge is fulfilled in this sense: we are part and parcel of everyone who has influenced our lives. In that sense, they are still alive in us.

Isn't it funny, there are times I feel the exact same way about my Mother. There are days when I find myself acting just like her and even saying the same things! It almost feels like she is guiding my subconsious. That she is still back there somewhere and that she takes over sometimes.

Excellent write! Brings back memories. Job done well.

Blessed are those that stimulate creative actions - even when they
leave our ennvironment - for they shall live for ever.

"Lead The Way" is a dew of gratitude, fraternity and friendship
condensed from a rainbow of love.

I salute You, Poet!

Sorry for this loss Rose. It is all about Leading the way. Yes he has left today, we will follow him tomorrow. Only stories survive. This is what we call life.

Good to read you again!

The example some people set, will live with us even after they're gone. I have one such friend, and I know what you mean. We're lucky to have known them. Nice to read you again, Rose!

Unifying the domains of life and death. Lead the Way immortalizes time and space at the centre of infinity. Rose, you will accomplish something great bringing yourself into line with this, making yourself The Living Flame as a spiritual director to guide Jeff's soul a way suitable to him, as you knew his goals and you can carry on the path to it. I see now that you perhaps are on a quest inspired by his life. Carry on as his knowledge and teachings allow you to.
