On a fishing boat named Noah,
She lived for us all,
All middleaged ,forgotten , women,
Whose desires ,dreams,hopes and passions
Passed them by , in the mire of confusion
Between adolescence and adulthood.
She made love with a stranger in a strange land,
Found the feelings long since numbed,
This woman with breasts drooping,
Belly with the left over bulge of childbirth
Stole herself away from the life that had stolen
All she had once held dear.
She shuffled through fears ,through shoulds ,and what ifs
To emerge radiant, bountiful in a life that was hers.
To give all those living but not alive,
The strength of courage to join her.
"And now that I have found some life I'm not going back"
