Memorial Day

Memorial Day for everyone who is waiting for us in Heaven.

Memorial Day, a time for remembering those that have left us behind.

Mothers, Fathers, sons and dauthers, loving partners, and best friends.

Thousands lost on 9/11, families left bereft and alone.

Also a time for giving thanks, for those who have given their lives to allow us the freedom that we hold dear, and for those who are still defending our freedom.

Thank you from an average American for protecting our world from tyranny and terrorism. I salute you and pray for your safety.

Saw a uniformed soldier at granddaughter's graduation and glad to know he was able to profess his love for his country. Amen.
