A dove’s kiss
I desperate longing of know takes me to a past event that is remembered and the hurt of it spills out,
I could love you know more then yesterday and today.
I could give you no more then this, an embrace that holds you my love,
An a look back to a whispered thought reminds you of this day, know and through out eternity again,
I could love you no more then this,
And I smile, as to say what sweetness came and comes from your heart,
as I look at the days that have brought me here, here to know that I am loved no more then yesterday, but giving no more then this day,
My rhythm of a lovers heart beat entraps me in a far away place, as I hear the roaring of your laughter, that gives me peace of mind,
a sense of being, an a promise that plays with my mind, as a kiss that is felt from the past,
What is in me, spills from the love that you have given, as the past holiday rewinds itself into today’s events,
I am here, and you, you are a memory that keeps me going, keeps me in a place worthy of a thought again,
I could love you no more then this, no more then grace, no more then a shadow that never leaves your side, and no more then a write of words that will never be forgotten,
You have taken me to this place
