A play on words to discribe the difference and similiarities of youth from past to present, and the power of tough love given by a loving, yet strong parent.

ANIMATUDE is something new, If you don’t watch out, it will happen to you...
As if getting ATTITUDE wasn't bad enough, Yet still, the kids were not so tough...
With eye movements that weren’t so sweet, Stomping around on their little feet...
Then sulking and pouting, with even some tears, Then moving away slowly, but only in fear...
Fear that their next actions, may just be their last, Cause it only takes a second to get smacked back to the past...
Back passed reality before you thought it was cool, to disrespect adults, now tell me who’s the fool!

But these new wave kids gotta twist that is new, By changing & re-naming attitude to ANIMATUDE...
See ANIMATUDE has a rhythm all of its' own, Making kids forget who really runs their homes...
Cause parents make the rules in this place they called home, So they better remember, before they go wrong...
That screaming, that yelling and all of that FLACK, Is enough to make a parent knock you way back...
Back to reality, if the meaning is not clear, that your not grown yet or you’d be out of  here...
So smacking your lips & rolling your eyes, Will only tell your parents that you want to die...
So your lying and crying is not good enough, cause we already know you think your the stuff...
Your words are too simple, but your actions can’t lie, for your ANIMATUDE beast is seen in your eyes...
So listen to me closely & hear me my dears, Cause the life that you're saving, is standing right here...
So the next time you feel an attack coming on, just remember, how  tough love from your parent can help you be strong...
