The Women, that I've drawn
Into my maelstrom
A charming boyish smile
Bedroom eyes
The Children
I've made with them
Pieces of my heart
The tears that flow
When I let them down
Like a River
The weakness that's hidden
'Neath this leonine facade
The Herculean task
Now
To repair it all
It's frightening

A Tangled Web

The dance we dance..all instrumental to who we are and who we bring forth. Sometimes..we just have to sit a number out. Your honesty in this is fresh heartspeak..more!

our children

as they move through life
often unaware
taking a bit of our hearts
with them every where
back to places we've been
or wouldn't go
