iím just half
drunk
as a high tailed
skunk
lyke a boasting
punk
high up on my alcoholic
high
iíll fight anyone
here
for another
beer
angel muscled biker
or gestapoíd black leatheríd queer..

iím just half
drunk
you would not believe
the depths
to which iíve slavering
sunk
Ďmongst depths dark
iíve slunk ........

.......
.....
...

i once ran a mile in four minutes
i was a marathon running man
and steep hill
byke climber
i scaled ben nevis in
wyntertyme
.........

......
..
..
.
you would not
believe the
depths
to which
iíve
sank

Poem 2 for me, Graham.. your phrasing has a wonderful crispness.. you have a grasp of how an economy of words can still paint a broad, yet instrospective picture. Great piece. katy xox.
