A horror story...

Rent Boy.................

I aince was a bonie laughing lad
a laughing lad was I
but I had a strange compunction tae
revel in the rye

an I sank intae debaucherie
an tasted the very evil ..
o the cunny.. an the slippery slope
intae the realm o ...the devil

my mither prayed for my simple soul
tae return tae its sinless way
but the hot moist tongues within my lugs
led me in heat astray

intae the lust o naked need
intae carnal abandonment
i lost my pure and catholic ways
tae the lure o devilment

i strolled alang the easy way
and swaggered oot o youth
i swallowed sperm sent awfu lies
turned my back on naked truth

lights upon the motorway
in the cold wynters dawn
of a week day morn
business man easy..sex pawn

i hae tae live oot this fantasy
an get oot o this plunging hell
afore the bells o tomorrow
ring my ain death knell

my wanton acts so commonplace
were riches sent tae me
by ony ain wha cared enough
tae pay the felons fee

my rouge red lips an pouting cheeks
my offers otymes guid
tae passing strangers... wandering
in search o excitement lewd

fae feathered beds tae cobbles cauld
the streets hae been my hame
and bare arsed twixst the verra twa
the couplings o my shame

my battered een an bluidie lips
my sair demented tears
abuse was my sair existence
for nigh these mony years

an tyme hae taen the toll ome
im nae langer a bonie lad
the mirror only reflects tae me
an image cold and sad

im now an auld an withered soul
wi mony a tale tae tell
o darkest deeds fae yesterday
but nae worth left tae sell

my lips are sealed
my eyes are closed
my thochts hae gaun astray
my horrors locked within my heart
as now I pass away
.......................

.....

a burst o yellow dawning sun
awash..wi healing morning fun...

yellow is my smile

Sorry you went thru what you did, if this is a self portrait, but trust me you are not the only one, not that that helps much I realize...not sure being "rented" was worse or better than being forced...ah well, we grow, we learn, we pass on, such is life & death...Ed & Rufuz (w00f)

This is totally bizarre. I just happen upon this poem as my music player is playing bagpipes. Great job here, Graham. Thank you for sharing it. Love and peace to you. Regis

Omg
You are so talented. I am American and initially I was afraid I would have to read this a few times to get the "wording" :)
But not at all!!! So clear!!! and its 5:17am here,I woke up early, and figured I would read and tire my eyes, and drop back to limbo for an hr or 2. But this poem, with its fantstic rhyme, and story, has me altert, and I just had to comment, and let you know I am totally floored by this! Whats Scottish for BRAVO.....Bravo??? lol
