Changing Winds

The wind cuts right through me

Piecing up life in a 3-D effect

Relentless, it pushes aside all that comes in its way

Having no doubts, no regrets

Merging hearts dissipate

Heartbeats increase in rate

People keep their distance

Trying hard to start resistance

Stitches try not to cross

The paths of parallel lines

Tread on earnestly

And you’ll find that life isn’t so fine

Howling winds surround me

Urging me on

I’m not completely blind to reality

At least, I thought so until now

Whirlwinds bring the truth

About what’s to come

They pick up everything

And then drop nothing

I hope you never change

But then people generally don’t

For you are my everything

And everything is more than I want

We must stay tunned to the wind; sometimes the change is good. And as someone here already said: trust is what we need.
