the day blithe, sunlight sinking
into seaward winds, sailing oceans
of fantasy, watching endless sky
with eyes of innocence

sunrise, sunset
memories of you dancing
in the sand, melting into clouds
breaking waves washing your body
with white foam, glittering coral
as i dreamed of you, not long
only a moment of ecstacy
as one teardrop fell
and spread across
this magic moment
of lips
trembling to meet the dawn

these memories haunt my mind
but what haunts me most
is the memory
of your scent

and your golden hair
billowing in the wind

Scent is something we never forget of a person and we will remember it for the rest of our lives. The pure scent of a once known and admired love.

This has a dreamy/seductive feel. Simply beautiful my friend. Happy holidays to you and yours.

This is a whisper, a hushed tone that demands to be spoken aloud.
A striking poem…Unique and impressive.

I really enjoyed reading this Ron.

So good that song is unending, pleasant and passionate.

Ron, this is an exquisite love poem...very sensual, visual, and so romantic from the first few lines, which evoke beautiful images, to the last line which shows the direct personal involvement...
