What is of the flesh will eventually fade, but what is born of spirit grows on and on into eternity.

Love, that infant child
Woke me this morning
And whispered her name
Into my ear
Mountains and valleys
Glowing streams
Magnificent rainbows
Did burst the walls Of my heart
As I listened, her name
Became a flower growing
Wild, unattended
In a garden of ecstacy
Her name, her name
Cascading into secret places
Rushing through my body
Through my soul
In a deep, ecstatic trance
I danced like a madman
From dawn to dusk
Chanting her name
Like a sacred mantra
Until the day became one
With the night
And the night
Gave birth to the moon
