Based on a painting by Jerry A. Greenberg- I have been home sick for a week with an inflamed chest wall- teaches me to lift so many books at work- so felt like writing something light, frivolous and happy:) Also, good news on getting a poem published yesterday and a GORGEOUS bouquet of red roses from the best man in the world, also may have affected my mood! :)

Skies like hyacinths
smell them-
Sweet!

White clouds like cotton
flow by-
Peace!

What a fine day
to be outside~

Hills of green
and trees and leaves-
Alive!

River shimmer
deep blue sleep-
Dream!

What a fine day
to be outside~

Flowers blooming
violet and white-
Oh! Bright!

Sun shining
great rays of warmth-
Oh! Light!

What a fine day
to be outside~

What a fine day
to be alive!

This is so musical, Michelle, that it should be in the score of a great Hollywood one somewhere! You have certainly shed that "feel-good" factor aBroad(way) this morning! The Hills Are certainly Alive... and I bet you sure do Feel Pretty, don't you?! You deserve to - many congratulations on your publication and take care of that chest: painful, I know!! TY Kate xx
