This is a poem written by my brother,
Eric Mead. He doesn't have a computer, so I thought I would put a poem of his online for some feedback. :)

cold water exhaling angst
forgetting my reason to sigh
grounded in my ability to fly
when i've had enough of You
your reality the truth is always there
as unseen as a life long friend
cool as a fall morning, unspoiled Death,
the air smells like dirt
eternity now
picking up a feather from
a down pillow
forever

***********

Lilies in bloom
never abundance but always enough
roses are war
the flower of conflict
to soothe or conquer a mass produced
I love you....
too common to even posess
sentiment anymore
a lilly looks like a vagina
wherin all the mysteries of life
can be discerned and loved
to love w/out giving
a love that just is
w/out
scorecards
just
does

**************

very nice imagery and flow ... i would replace "W/out" with the actual word ... otherwise, a very creative piece ...

My, my, MIchelle, this is obviously a artistic family. "cold water exhaling angst" is a line I read and reread 3 times, nodding my head, wishing I could claim it (smile) Eric, the idea of loving 'without scorecards is an idea I've not see expressed in verse, and is one of many expressions in your poem that proves you have a unique voice... time to get a computer, join AD, or, make a deal with Michelle to share hers! Good stuff! katy xox.

OMG! His imagination is dynamic. The imagery evoked is compelling. I can see he is experimenting with contrasting and conflicting moods and emotions that form intriguing connections. I like that.

He's cool. ;)

It is interesting his point about the lilly because I have thought the same thing. Interesting poem here and I am glad you posted it.

Eric is taking after you, sis :) I see talent runs in the family, eh?

Having no computer hasn't stopped me, Eric--go to your local library if you have one and get on the Internet there--that's what I do. :)

Keep writing, and living your dreams.

Thanks, Michelle!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla. :)
