the american way way wayyyyyy....

We are the new Indians
Robed in colorful blankets
Of junk mail...
And smoke.

Out here on the rural route
They’re buying out our neighbors
And slowly closing in

Encroachment in the name of
“Affordable Single Family Housing”
for the masses

Slapped together by summer college kids
Designed to last about 20 years
An then to be knocked down again...

In order to put up even bigger houses
on postage-stamp sized yards...

We the People
Have become an obstacle
In the way of progress

Their vision of planned communities
With no trees

People living on top of each other,
pretending to have privacy
and yet, with the windows open
they listen to each other snore

Ignore ignore ignore...

A Lexus driving nation
on Medication
Clean, Trendy...

Puttyheads is an ideal noun for today's clones. This fastlane we find ourselves upon eats awsy at our focus and creativity util we become mundan puttyheads. Your verse is the testimony.
