The passing of my brother-in-law has been very hard for all of us. I send my heart to the rest of his crew and hope they all come home safe.

A time when we don’t need war

Saving lives with a Doctor’s skill
Or maybe just with a compassionate ear
Living life to the fullest
Diving into the pool with the kids
Intimate moments with loved ones
Every moment held so dear
Relying on family to see them clear
Suppers with the family every night

Driving lessons with the kids
Racing through the park
Each one hoping to get home
Alive and safe
Mostly dreaming of just being home
