Most of us believe in Angels. We have a mental image in our mind of how they are suppose to look, what they may wear, and we also imagine them with outspread wings. I remember when I was a little girl, my mom telling me about the Angels, and about also telling me how often they are here to protect us, especially when we need them most. I can still picture my Mom telling me not to be afraid when thunder, and lightening would come, for she told me it was just Angels bowling in Heaven. I don’t really believe that now, but back then it saved me many nights of being afraid of thunder, and lightening just thinking that the Angels were up in Heaven having a grand old time.

Have you ever felt a peace within when you have had a bad day, or when something has scared you beyond the normal? Well, I believe when one feels this it is actually an Angel who has come to comfort us when we need it most. Or have you ever felt the presence of something near you, when there was no one else in the room? I have, and I also believe that an Angel is near us to keep us safe.

I know Angels watch over us many times through a day, and I know that they are here under Gods Bidding, as the Angels in Heaven were created to do Gods will.

So next time you feel a peaceful presence surrounding you, or something telling you not to do something, listen to that, and feel it with all your heart, as there may be an Angel standing right in your very midst.


An Angel Close By

We All have Guardian Angels
That comes to take us home
They wrap us up within their wings
So we know we’re not alone

They shelter us from all the bad
And keep us in their care
Somehow we get the feeling
That they are always there

It may just be a little tug
Somehow we know they’re near
At times they even show themselves
To let us know they’re here

God gave them to us all at birth
To guard us when we fall
It doesn’t matter if we’re big
Or if we’re very small

So be sure to be cautious
In what you say, and do
Because you never know
When an Angel is next to you
