She cries in the night
About the man who broke her heart
He doesn't see what he's done
Or the damage that's torn her apart.

He see's her smile in the day
The smile melts his guilt away
But it's not to say, to him,
That everything's okay.

Her screams go unheard
About the pain and torment
He has forced on her.
He wont observe
'Cause he's too afraid, to come to terms
With the monster, in himself, that he has made.

And there's no shame,
For him concerning her.
'Cause he's convinced that it was her.
How blind, two eyes can be,
For the sake of his integrity.

But he must know
It wasn't me
You evil bastard
What you did
It wasn't me.
