You sit on a wooden stool and wonder
Lights dim, music pounds, people stare
Why are you here?
Glasses clink as mirrors reflect blank faces
Women, men, wine and beer
Why do you stay?
Your eyes become clouded and heavy
Your mind screaming inside your head
Is anyone listening?
A once crowed place becomes empty
The bartender asks you to leave
Can you find your car?
A cold mist awakens your face and covers the ground
Dangerous risks are welcomed as you drive,
Have you the nerve?
The trip is not remembered
With morning comes reality
Are you still alive?

Are you still alive?
Indeed you are!!! ..all you need do is WAKE to the truth within your heart then follow your bliss..making very sure it is REAL bliss and not just a concoction of your mind..
I think it's time you let go and let God..
btw no human is WORTH so much pain..the pain that has become your very existance..

Dear Dave,
The cry of solitude. Maybe not everyone listens, but there are plenty who do listen and care ! Maybe not the ones you expected though !!! Very powerful and sobering write Dave.
Warm hugs and love
