That's All He's Good For

Satan likes to condemn us
through his evil ways,
Throwing out accusations
that flame our guilt into a blaze

He loves to tell the lies
that draw us into his pit,
Hoping that we’ll fall
and weakly we’ll submit

And forget that he’s just an accuser
that he never was the judge,
That God is the only one
and He does not hold a grudge

Satan will never admit
that all he’s good for is destruction and doubt,
But to those who know Gods truth
his lies are weak in their route

He likes to see us suffer
and drown in our sin,
And to watch us struggle
so that victory he may win

True he might win a battle
but he’s already lost the war,
Long ago on a cross
where his chains need bind no more

well written ... but has evil really lost the war? ... at this point in history, as well as history past, evil is unfortunately in control ... after all, evil is still the god of earth ... the fallen angel who reigns at will ... hopefully in the distant future the war will truly be won ...
