Friends are the epicenter of life

I like you, like me ,make us who we are, we
as new friends found through words
of life’s passions, life’s loves, and life’s hurts.

Building a better tomorrow for today’s future is upon us.
Interesting to learn new faces, deep eyes, pretty smiles.
New ways to think of old things. Old things part silently
through the windows of our past.

Friendship grows with constant and devoted attention.
Selective criticism meant only to aid in our walk serves
to bond together like minds, bodies and souls.

Never underestimate the bonds that are grown strong like
the Oak’s deep roots. Watered when there is no rain,
nourished when there is no food and loved even if there is no shade.

Stand under the Oak with me and swing in the hammock of my life.
Friends who walk the same walk, talk the same talk. Time is destiny to them. Destiny takes time and time walks with each one of us as daily we grow roots deep into our friends inner self to know them better and to be there when needed.

Take time to tell them how you feel about just them. LISTEN first and hold not judgement against them. Feel the true passion of real friends intent on uplifting each other as we walk the fine lines of life.

True friendship is a precious gift indeed. It is not as common as one might think at first. Nicely expressed. Thank you. Love and peace,

A great reminder of how each of us flourishes and shelters the other with the gift of our deep friendships, Randy. We are all trees of the same forest with our roots interlocking. We breathe the same air and seek the same warm rays of the sun. I like the picture of mutual support and co-dependence you paint here. Your words heeded will make each of us grow straight and tall, reaching our full potential. Uplifting indeed. TY Kate xx
