Everyone needs to get dirty from time to time so we can appreciate being clean.

There is always youth inside young hearts
and who said playing in the mud isnít fun.
All that glitters in life is not gold.  Fine misty
muck scatters skyward to form an intrinsic
beauty outlined by the brightness of the day.
Let life live within you and never be afraid to
play in the mud once again.  Hear the roar of
duel exhaust and watch tires spin faster as the
rooster tail forms and falls with some sort of icky
grace only those adventurous enough can enjoy.
Share laughs and ride. Ride higher through the
complexity of trails as we maneuver to end goals.
Up muddy hills slipping, full throttle head looking
straight to the end. Cautious down the slopes we
travel ever weary of the obstacles placed in our path.
Life is too short not to be yourself as we ride along
the pathways of life.  So open her up baby and
feel the wind on your face as straight is your path.
Feel the throbbing of the engine being beckoned
by your command. Mud, dirt, rocks, crevices wonít
hold you back. Spin your tires and spread some joy
as ribbons of mud sparkle in the sun.  Age is just another
number and if we feel our age, then life slips on by.
Enjoy the mud and lifeís adventures will get you dirty at
times, but we can always be cleansed.

Life is but a number - our life's philosophies agree. Get on with life, enjoy it while you have it. Your poem is wonderful and invigorating to read first thing this morning.

Your poem sounds like a reference to "dirt-bike mud-heaven". I've never seen anyone one of them who wasn't having fun.

Just love this write! If you think young, then young you will always be. If you think old, then old you will be and so much will pass you by.....

I especially like this part........"Age is just another
number and if we feel our age, then life slips on by.
Enjoy the mud and lifeís adventures will get you dirty at
times, but we can always be cleansed." Wonderful words to keep close to your heart!
