Just how far have we come? What have we accomplished.
Perhaps full circle?

The Wisdoms
by
Rita P. J. Hestand
Wisdom comes with time they say
And we suppose they're right.
But what a terrible price to pay
For us to see the light!
And so with time we have grown
yet still we have not grasp.
With all the troubles we have known,
we've failed to meet the tasks.
But we are fools, and fools must teach
the lessons we have learned,
to each and every child we reach
The Wisdoms we've now earned!

| We are always learning wisdom and can find teachers to tell us many things. Good write, and we all have come far in this world and your poetry tell us we will see the light, keep trying and go on writing. |
