My husband true
I grant only to you
the honor of my weak hand
then extended.
Let no one, who by thieving
would take in my heart grieving,
or think to waste my hours
with you intended.
For they would set a snare
and by pretending care,
and bring a form of folly
in their ways.
And I would see that you
are given my love true ...
My pity will be yours
in your weak days.

Very beautiful with a precious conclusion-- it touches my heart.

I love this, so beautiful, has a real classic, Elizabeth Barrett Browning feel- nice work.

Interesting use of words to describe a relationship. Especially curious about the last two lines...
