Sleeping Beauty,
I can't wake you ~
it's not my job,
everybody knows.
Princesses everywhere,
they get envied.
Some get konked
by the drugs of their foes.
Your Prince Charming
always seeks you ~
always keeps you
in his heart.
When he finds
his most prized treasure,
he will crown you
with a noble part.

You've got the story, in all its variations, pegged. I'm with the Apple, waking up, over the Dell, almost down the river.

This is scary. Why must a princess always be so dependent?

Very interesting and a poem to make the reader reread and rethink each time one rereads it. Good lines.
